Designed to provide motel style accommodation facilities for the Capricorn Roadhouse in Newman, the pre-fabricated modules have been sited in a two-storey , back-to–back configuration with connecting walkways at the front and rear, and service breezeways in-between.

A combination of 3 bedroom, 4 bedroom, and 2 bedroom universal access rooms all with their own ensuite, are arranged in an oval shape around a large central landscaped courtyard. Connecting walkways and stairs provide ample circulation in and around the complex.

A total of 40 buildings, comprising 144 rooms, provide much needed accommodation for workers, travellers and the like within the extensive truck-stop and roadhouse complex.
