Andrew Macliver Architect is a Fremantle-based architecture and interior design practice, originally established in 2001. Led by registered architect Andrew Macliver, an experienced practitioner and member of the Australian Institute of Architects - the studio brings decades of expertise across a wide range of project types, shaped by work in both Western Australia and Los Angeles. Andrew’s portfolio includes numerous award-winning projects since graduating from the University of Western Australia in 1986.

About The practice

The practice’s design philosophy creates a seamless unity between form and function, balancing the client’s brief and ambitions with the realities of budget and program. While experienced across a broad range of project types, Andrew has developed significant expertise in modular building - from individual homes to large-scale accommodation projects through both the fabABODE product and consulting on modular developments. The practice also has extensive experience with heritage buildings, including adaptation, re-use, alterations, additions, and restoration for both residential and commercial sectors, with successful heritage grant applications through the Heritage Council of WA. With a proven track record, established industry relationships, and a deep understanding of complex procurement strategies, the practice delivers efficient, high-quality design solutions across the property development sector.
